Sohini joined Athena in September 2024 as a Senior Consultant. She holds a postgraduate degree in Ecology and Environmental Science from Pondicherry University and has led large-scale projects from conception through execution. Her expertise spans field surveys, project monitoring and evaluation, and documentation for multilateral and bilateral institutions, governments, and think tanks.

Sohini is also adept at developing knowledge management materials, social media content, reports, and advocacy films to support effective project dissemination. She brings strong skills in data analysis, capacity-building support, proposal writing, and implementing research program interventions.

Her experience cuts across sectors such as Education, Gender Equality, Environment, Wildlife, Climate Change, Child Protection, Nutrition, Health, Social Protection, and Agriculture, equipping her with a nuanced understanding of diverse domains and audiences. She has contributed to projects with organizations including UNICEF, USAID, MoEFCC, DFID, UNDP, ILO, and CECOEDECON.
