Samhitha is a motivated economics enthusiast with a strong interest in public policy and development economics. She joined Athena Infonomics in October 2024 and is currently an Associate Consultant in the MERL practice. Prior to this, she worked as a Project Associate at the Indian Institute of Science and as research intern at organizations such as Quanteco, Dvara Research, and Athena Infonomics.

She has also worked on data analysis for several research projects funded by AIGGPA and UNICEF and has also co-authored a research paper that was published in Economic and Political Weekly (EPW) and presented a paper at the Indian Society of Labour Economics.

Samhitha holds a degree in Economics from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics and possesses a strong academic foundation and a deep understanding of the subject.
