Prakhar is a Data & Tech Specialist with the Climate & Livelihoods team at Athena Infonomics. His work sits at the intersection of socio-environmental research, evaluations, and climate-linked monitoring systems, with a strong focus on applying data-driven and spatial approaches to address development and policy challenges.
His experience spans climate governance, livelihood systems, resilience assessments, and agri-food systems. Prakhar has worked with government agencies, multilateral institutions, philanthropic foundations, and non-profit organisations on mixed-methods evaluations, the design of monitoring and learning frameworks, geospatial and climate analytics, and GIS-enabled decision-support systems.
He holds a Master’s degree in Disaster Management from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and is currently pursuing a Post-Graduate Diploma in Data Science for Health and Climate Change. His research interests include climate adaptation, spatial analysis, resilience, and the use of data systems to strengthen programme design and evidence-informed decision-making.
