Dr. Pankaj Sharma holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital & Health Management and a Master’s in Sociology. His expertise spans public health, nutrition, WASH, skill development, and local governance. He has led research, monitoring & evaluation, and policy advisory initiatives for clients including the World Bank, UN agencies, government bodies, and CSR arms of corporates.

Dr. Sharma joined Athena in April 2025 as Principal Consultant in our India Business Unit vertical. Prior to this, he was with KPMG Advisory India, where he led the Program Management Unit at the National Health Authority (NHA), managing the nationwide rollout of nine convergence schemes.

He is known for his ability to lead large-scale, high-impact projects and deliver evidence-based development strategies. Beyond work, he enjoys reading non-fiction, following cricket, and exploring new destinations.
