
Nupur Mishra is a Senior Consultant, Ag+AI at Athena Infonomics. She works at the intersection of sustainable agriculture, project management, and technology-driven solutions, with a focus on improving outcomes for farmers through data and innovation.
Prior to joining Athena, she led several projects at Gram Unnati, working closely with farmers, retailers, institutional buyers, and government stakeholders across multiple states in India. Her work focused on understanding farmer needs and delivering end-to-end, tech-driven solutions that promoted climate-resilient practices and strengthened market access for smallholder farmers. She has also worked with the Wadhwani Initiative on Sustainable Health (WISH Foundation), supporting the integration and last-mile delivery of innovative health technologies within public healthcare systems.
Nupur holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Sussex, UK, and has completed the Advanced Program in Strategic Management for Business Excellence from IIM Lucknow, equipping her to blend business strategy with developmental impact. She has authored a publication on Bt Cotton adoption in The Indian Journal of Public Administration.
Outside of work, Nupur is passionate about dance and has previously taught at Shiamak Davar’s Institute of Performing Arts.
