Nakul is the Co-founder and CEO of APLYD, which brings AI and digital technology into government and public systems. He has worked with governments, multilateral institutions, and foundations across more than 20 countries, building AI and digital products that today reach over 200 million people.

His work has taken him to the heart of government — including leading an AI unit inside India's Ministry of Health through the COVID pandemic, working across the ministries of agriculture, education, and women & child development, and delivering the national tuberculosis platform that moved $80M in direct benefits to patients.

Prior to APLYD, Nakul was CEO of Wadhwani AI Global, taking India's experience of deploying population-scale AI to governments across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, and earlier led product and design at Wadhwani AI, with roles before that at Cognizant, Accenture, and GE Healthcare. His core interests include AI for public systems, digital public infrastructure, and the last-mile delivery of technology in emerging economies.

He holds an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai and a bachelor's degree in electronics and communication engineering from GGSIPU.
