Brent Keener is Director of Strategy and Growth at Athena Infonomics, where he leads growth and program oversight for the firm’s U.S. Government portfolio, including new awards, contract vehicles, and delivery on initiatives such as the U.S. Department of State’s SI-ACES program and NASA's SEWP VI with Atala LLC, Athena’s joint venture.

A PMP-certified international development leader with 18 years of nonprofit and for-profit experience, Brent combines business development, strategic planning, and program management with a record of leading cross-functional teams and public-private partnerships. He has in-country experience in nearly 20 countries, including project launch, scale-up, and cross-country landscape and performance assessments. Previously, he was Director of Outreach and Partnerships at EnCompass, where he helped shape the firm’s strategy and client diversification. Earlier roles include Kshema Foundation, University Research Corp., and the United States Pharmacopeial Convention.

Brent holds an MA in International Development from the University of Manchester and a BA in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
