Atreyee Kar leads the branding and communications function at Athena Infonomics. She joined Athena in March 2024, bringing a diverse professional background in building brands across sectors, including animation, real estate, business consultancy, financial services, children’s rights, disability, women’s empowerment, and public health.
She has worked in regional, national, and international capacities, crafting and executing branding, content, and social media strategies; building and optimizing websites; and documenting organizational impact. Her previous roles include positions at ICRA Analytics Ltd., CRY – Child Rights and You, The Hunger Project, among others. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Institute of Management and Technology, Ghaziabad, India.
Beyond her professional sphere, Atreyee is a passionate blogger, photographer, and foodie. Greatly inspired by Padmashri Sr. Cyril, an educationist and social reformer, she is driven by an overarching goal of using communications for positive social change.
