A framework to measure social impact investments

With a view to strengthen social impact measurement and reporting, Athena supported Lok Capital assess its existing investments. This involved the creation of an impact measurement framework and the development of an impact microsite. It focused on capturing impacts across the dairy farming, healthcare and financial inclusion sectors. Athena's theory of change framework identified and captured the on-ground impact of targeted investments. The project also captured anecdotal evidence on livelihood opportunities and improvements from beneficiaries. Through the microsite, Athena developed a robust and sustainable platform to report and monitor social impact. The impact reports showcased provide evidence and insights about the impact created by investor funds at the investee and beneficiary level.
