Athena Infonomics is a global development solutions company specialising in monitoring and knowledge management solutions. The company, with offices in the United States, India, Africa and Europe, is acquiring TolaData from its previous parent company, GFA Consulting Group, which had been the majority shareholder since 2020, together with Berlin-based investment company Nova Investment GmbH.
"The change of ownership strengthens TolaData’s chances of gaining access to the American and Indian markets, thereby bolstering the company's prospects in a highly dynamic environment. At the same time, GFA GROUP is focusing on its core competencies by handing over the international scaling of this software solution to other parties," says Heiko Weißleder, one of the three managing directors of the GFA Consulting Group and the parent company GFA Holding. Weißleder emphasises that GFA GROUP will continue to cooperate with TolaData in the future.
‘"Together with the experienced TolaData team, we want to further develop the successfully launched products and attract new customers. For the existing customer base of TolaData solutions, there will be no change in the quality of services and support," says Vijay Bhalaki, managing director at Athena Infonomics.
