Call for Applications: Recognition for AI Adoption in Textile Manufacturing

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is creating new pathways for India’s textile sector to move beyond cost-based competition towards capability-led competitiveness anchored in reliability, consistency, speed, compliance, and operational efficiency.

In this regard, the National Institute of Smart Government (NISG) and Athena Infonomics, under the aegis of the study titled “Accelerating AI Adoption in Manufacturing MSMEs” commissioned by the IndiaAI Mission, invite manufacturing organisations and AI solution providers to submit implemented Artificial Intelligence (AI) interventions in the Indian textile sector that have demonstrated measurable operational or business outcomes.

Selected AI adopters and implementation partners will be recognised during Bharat Tex 2026. Shortlisted interventions may also be documented as part of a “Lighthouse Compendium” to showcase emerging practices and accelerate responsible AI adoption across the textile manufacturing ecosystem.

Who Can Apply?

Applications are invited from:

• Textile manufacturers across India, including MSMEs and large enterprises
• AI solution providers working with textile manufacturing companies
• Joint applications from manufacturers and technology partners

Applications should focus on implemented AI interventions with demonstrated outcomes.
